Participant management is the big win

Ulrika Sunesson, coordinator at Lararnas Riksforbund (the National Union of Teachers), became aware through her professional role of how extensive it is to plan events. Before organizing a private party, she set out to find a digital tool that could ease the administrative burden at a reasonable cost. The result? Shortly after the festivities took place, a collaboration between Event Logic and Lararnas Riksforbund was initiated.

"After looking at Event Logic's platform and the system's capabilities, I reflected on how it would be useful at work. We had previously concluded that an external system for event and meeting management would be of great benefit. But Lararnas Riksforbund is an organization with limited resources. So it is the price question that has usually been the deciding factor. But given Event Logic's free setup, it appeared very interesting for us," says Ulrika Sunesson.

The challenge for Lararnas Riksforbund

When Ulrika Sunesson talks about Event Logic, she keeps returning to the word simplicity. The fact that all steps before a gathering can be performed on the platform and that it is easy to share the information with other administrators or decision-makers is emphasized as significant advantages. Not least in relation to the situation that preceded the collaboration, which - as so often - was characterized by constant manual work in Excel and hundreds of emails between suppliers, administrators, and participants.

"We have an internal system via our website with a static and rather dull questionnaire as the only function. Everything is based on exporting an Excel file every time new information is reported. It takes a lot of time and does not look particularly appealing," describes Ulrika Sunesson.

Results and plans ahead

When Lararnas Riksforbund saw a realistic opportunity in Event Logic for better overview and fewer administrative tasks, the tone was hopeful.

"I received great response immediately when the idea of implementing the system was presented. It is an affordable and easy-to-understand system that also looks very professional visually, so most people were very enthusiastic from the start," recounts Ulrika Sunesson.

A hopeful tone initially is often a very good starting point for a collaboration to succeed. But it is of course of even greater importance that expectations are met.

"Event Logic absolutely lives up to our expectations. We understand that it is a broad product that needs to work in lots of different organizations. So with that in mind, it is fantastic how well it fits in with us. Almost everything we need to manage around events and meetings can be handled directly on the platform," says Ulrika Sunesson, who is then asked to pinpoint the clearest win that Lararnas Riksforbund attributes to the collaboration with Event Logic:

"It is the smooth participant management, without a doubt."

At Event Logic, we are full of humility for the trust that Lararnas Riksforbund chooses to place in us. Furthermore, we are very motivated by hearing how the collaboration may deepen going forward.

"Currently, we use Event Logic centrally, but our ambition is to implement Event Logic throughout the entire organization going forward," concludes Lararnas Riksforbund's coordinator Ulrika Sunesson.
