Liberalerna on Event Logic: "Time-saving and easy to overview!"

When the political party Liberalerna convenes for conferences or training, the gatherings are typically prepared and booked by project manager Rebecka Kvart. Over the past two years, nearly all external events have been booked through Event Logic. In this article, we find out which challenges preceded the party's decision to collaborate with Event Logic, which benefits have been identified so far, and what they hope to gain from the collaboration going forward.

"In terms of how we previously handled bookings, that is through direct contact with suppliers in numerous email threads, we could expect a major challenge if the responsible person were to leave. In such a scenario, the successor would face the very time-consuming task of gathering and compiling correspondence from different threads and platforms," reasons Rebecka Kvart.
Time-consuming and difficult to overview
Even with the responsible person remaining the same, Rebecka Kvart describes how the way the party previously booked external conferences consumed a disproportionately large share of her working time. Providing different information to different parties, at different times, through different channels is a common but rarely efficient way to handle meetings and conferences. When that realization struck Liberalerna, they chose to leave this approach behind and start fresh with Event Logic.
How Liberalerna Uses Event Logic
Currently, Liberalerna books nearly all their external gatherings through Event Logic, whether it concerns training sessions, conferences, or management team meetings. The exception so far has been the largest congresses, with up to 700 attendees. These have been procured and booked outside of Event Logic, but when circumstances eventually allow the next congress to take place, there is strong indication that it too will be handled via Event Logic.
"We previously had the idea that we wanted to tender more than four suppliers, and therefore chose other approaches than Event Logic for our largest congresses. But such an extensive procurement process has rarely materialized in practice. For that reason, we will likely use Event Logic for these gatherings as well going forward," says Rebecka Kvart.
Results of the Collaboration and Thoughts Going Forward
When asked about which results and effects can so far be attributed to the collaboration between Liberalerna and Event Logic, Rebecka Kvart chooses to emphasize two things: time efficiency and ease of overview.
"Yes, that is definitely the case. The fact that it is so easy to compare suppliers, add all important elements, and oversee the big picture means we get better control over both costs and necessary actions, despite reduced effort."
When the conversation then turns to the outlook for the collaboration's opportunities and challenges going forward, the tone remains positive.
"Everything can of course always improve, but Event Logic currently works exactly the way we want it to work. We therefore look forward to continuing on the path we have taken and using the platform for training sessions, conferences, congresses, and similar events, as soon as they can be held again," concludes Rebecka Kvart.
