Nordicbench has recently released the results from the Swedish Conference and Meeting Barometer 2024 and the forecasts point to stable demand for events and conferences in the coming year, while placing Event Logic at the top of lists measuring customer satisfaction and NPS (Net Promoter Score). We couldn't be prouder! Here are the highlights and analysis of some of the report's findings.

An obvious highlight, according to our (somewhat biased) assessment, is that the survey highlights Event Logic as a leader in the industry when it comes to NPS scores and customer satisfaction. Event Logic is placed at the top among conference suppliers when participants rate the likelihood of recommending (NPS) and "best value for money" according to the Swedish Conference and Meeting Barometer 2024. This result confirms that our comprehensive solution, which digitises and streamlines workflows and delivers time and cost savings, is perfectly aligned with our customers' needs.

An interesting change in this year's report is the increasing number of companies that now prioritise the purpose of their meetings or conferences as a decisive factor when choosing a venue and location. This shift is confirmed by the fact that "clear purpose and content" ranks highest among industry trends for the coming year. (Swedish Conference and Meeting Barometer 2024)

We see this change as an indication that the market is now embracing a more strategic view of meetings and conferences, with an emphasis on transitioning to Strategic Meeting Management Planning (SMMP) for its beneficial elements, including cost savings and efficiency gains. The development reflects the industry's growing awareness of the importance of defining clear purposes and content to create meaningful and effective meeting environments, where the need for strategic planning is becoming increasingly prominent.
